- Local graduating high school seniors
- Local college students
- Must attend school full time (except ACCD students)
- GPA must be 2.5 or higher (high grades are not essential for consideration)
- Should attend a college or university within the San Antonio area
- Must have financial need or an extraneous circumstance
- Preference given to those who are first generation in family to attend college or university.

La Prensa Foundation also sponsors the UTSA’s Henry Romo Memorial Endowed Scholarship. For more information on this scholarship, you may log on to the university’s website or stop by their financial aid office.
